Loughros Mor Bay, Ardara, Co. Donegal

Just after mid-day the sun came out and we were making our descent into Ardara- a town which was to live up to its star billing given by a neighbour at Mullinasole. Our accommodation was a few miles outside the town on the Loughros peninsular with spectacular large windows overlooking the bay. And our host, Birgitte, offered to drive us into town to Nancy's bar for our evening meal and to come and collect us afterwards.

Nancy's Bar in Ardara would be a high spot in any holiday. Full of character and characters and serving great food and Guiness.
