False color digital ir of mini-iris.

I went wandering at lunch today with the IR camera and came across a wonderful raised bulb garden around the outside of the Kiva lecture hall. I took the UV filter off the camera so some UV light could sneak in and highlight some of the blue areas. This is the basic image a bit desaturated so as not to be overwhelmingly garish.

I am shooting with 'a 720nm filter (Hoya) on my Fuji IS-1. I am hoping that the more dramatic 850nm cut off filter will be here soon.

Today I give thanks for the day I was given - yet another one - amazing, the baby, a job to go to, the health of my family and Captain Cat, sitting on my lap complaining about something. I am frankly puzzled as to ho I have so much grace in my life. Thank you.
