An Afternoon at the Races....

....but first we all went out for an early lunch at the local cafe (just across our paddock, converted farm sheds) which was a great way to start the outing.

Out to the Phar Lap Raceway (named after the locally born world famous race horse)....google it if you are interested.  Sad but true :(

A great festive atmosphere, catering for the children with a heap of activities, all free.  Here are Ella and Harry, pretty well self explanatory.

The six adults all put in $20 each and had a turn at betting.....didn't make a forturn, in fact made a donation.  But it was all about an outing with fun attached.
