Hole in the Rock
This shot probably proves to me again that blip for me these days is a way of recording a memory, ideally in the most photogenic way. Let's say I just got the memory today ;-)
We stayed in Deep Water Cove as I said yesterday and started the day with some swimming. Relatively warm, superbly clear.
Then we headed out to Cape Brett and to see"?The Hole in the Rock", or Piercy Island as it's otherwise known. The kids had never been out here. Sadly it was little rough so we couldn't go thru, in fact even the tourist boats couldn't. The boat in the picture just backed in.
So we then headed back the shelter of the islands and stopped in Goodfellows Bay. Simply superb beach and swimming, but again sadly, it now has a house in the bay. We caught up with my sister-in-law and her husband as they are also up. Lots of swimming again.
Then off towards our anchorage with several stops. A quick fish for snapper - we got 6, and then setting the net for some flounder.
And then a lovely quite anchorage, and roast pork. Superb.
