Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

We are off to visit Penny and Albert in Banchory for the weekend.

Penny was unwell after dinner. It worries me that having us to stay takes too much of a toll on her. She does so much food preparation and doesn’t easily accept help.

Aside from cooking for breakfast and dinner, there is always a selection of home baking to go with morning and afternoon coffee*. There’s no popping to the corner shop for a packet of penguin biscuits and some random crisps and dips in a panic just before guests arrive, or deciding that people won’t care about the food once they are plied with booze!
