A Stone’s Throw From Traditional Marrakesh

A relatively straightforward journey here with the exception of my rather expensive mistake of thinking I had booked baggage on the flight to get to the airport and having to pay an extra £130 to bring our cases with us....cheaper than buying all new clothes when we got here though.

By the time we arrived and checked into our hotel there wasn’t much time for exploring so we enjoyed an afternoon and evening of relaxation, food and drink on the roof terrace of our hotel.

We are staying in the relatively new part of Marrakesh as we felt the hotels are more family orientated and as the view from the terrace shows (extras) it is an area of modern residences and shops but we are a stones throw from the old Medina and the more traditional Marrakesh.
