That's the dog. Didnt get his name. But I admired his style - clashing camouflages and patterns. 

The walking group were supposed to be meeting in Bedfordshire to do a bit of the Pilgrims Progress Way. But we wimped out when we saw the weather forecast and went for a hike around Hyde Park instead. A good result because we saw loads, admiring the planting to celebrate the anniversary of Queen Vic's birthday (extra) and the summer flower beds. Plus my sister treated us to an ice cream by the Serpentine. 

We hiked  through St James' Park down to Horse Guards Parade and then back to Sue and Richard's where we had the prepared picnic in the garden.

A fun day and we still did a few miles. So I deserve the glass of wine coming up...
