Lunch spot

We went for another walk this afternoon, only 7 miles today. We didn't get very far when we had to shelter in a bus stop as the rain started in ernest. We donned our waterproof trousers and set off when the rainhad eased. We didn’t find the path we were looking for and it was a late lunch as we were waiting for a suitable spot off the road. There were lots more lapwings around today. We had to be careful that we didn’t accidentally step on a nest.
