Give that girl a glass of wine!
That's what I was thinking as I tried to unlock the door when I got home for the second time today. Unfortunately the door was locked on the inside, but CS , having accidentally locked me out, heard my key turning and let me in.
What a day! I'd decided not to attend my afternoon class in Stonehouse, and stay in Stroud and work overtime because we were short staffed; then attend a training at school at 4pm. I checked that the training was still on (it was) and then told my colleague and climbing partner that I wouldn't be climbing.
Just then, the speech therapist colleague turned up and said that the training was now cancelled! I decided to go climbing at 4pm. Back in my own department, my boss said she didn't know if she'd need me to work overtime...
At 11am, she said she didn't. So I walked home at 1.30, because I missed the bus, and managed to do a couple of things that were becoming urgent. CleanSteve came back home, and gave me a lift back to school, because it was raining.
LA and I went climbing. It was hard. The new routes have been set by long limbed giants. Came home, had a bath and now I'm watching the Conservative candidates' debate. Except that it's not really a debate. More of a shout-out.
