Paradise

Here we are at a lovely b&b overlooking the David Austin rose growing fields! Could a location be more perfect ??
We spent the day with Robs brothers in Shrewsbury having a look round and eating rather too much. Finally escaped to check in here, and we were greeted by Diana with a gorgeous sponge cake! She has lived here for 20 years and told us it is the house that David Austin snr was born in! Her garden hedge seperates her from the rose gardens!
It’s actually my ideal home, you could be a rose dead header all summer and just breathe in the perfume all day long. I told her if she’s ever thinking of selling up ....
