"This is it, that's the end of the joke"

I thought the Peonies might be out for the Kids coming home from America - and then I thought they might be home for the Kid coming home from Australia.... 

But no.  

It waited til now. 

Last year I waited as long for one. 

this year I have 4. 

I am beside myself with excitement and the smell is amazing. (that's the smell of the peonies, not the smell of my excitement, although it's pretty lovely too)
