THE ORIGINAL PLAN WAS
to go to Göttingen today, but we agreed upon going to the Sababurg Tierpark instead because of the heavenly blue sky weather. On top of the hill there is an old castle and it is said that Sleeping Beauty slept here a hundred years till the prince came, or so the Brothers Grimm tell us. See Mischa's castle here.
A drive along and into the Rheinhardswald. The park is extensive and there grow many old trees. Walking there and seeing all kinds of wild life animals is always a treat. With the bright sun even more so of course.
Choosing one picture of the many I took did take some time. But here is 'our 'choice'.
My haiku:
The wolves near the deer
The birds and the kangaroos
In their vicinity
And the proverb by Virgil:
Virtue is doubly pleasing in one whose form is beautiful.
