Tuesday: Upwards

Our visitors have headed off to Seattle for a few days. They left so quietly this morning that we were convinced that they had overslept. It was only later when they sent us pictures of them on the train, eating the sandwiches that K. had made for them (made for lunch, eaten at 8am) that we realised they were on their way.

I had a breakfast meeting, a coffee meeting and a lunch meeting all in fairly quick succession. If I could have arranged a dinner meeting all my meal needs for today would have been taken care of.......as it is, K. and I had a nice quiet evening in.

Regarding the photo, it's easy to think that Vancouver is all glitzy and chromy but there are older things to be seen too.
