New out of their eggs.

It was with a sense of excitement that I went back to the swan's nest at dawn this morning. The Pen was on the nest with her wings spread out and I could hear little cheeps so I knew we had more babies. I waited quite a long while for her to lift up just slightly to reveal these three newly hatched and still damp cygnets. This is not a great photo but at least you can see all three. In my extras you can see a photo I took of all four a few hours later when I popped back in to see how things were progressing. I was amazed by how fluffy they were already, and busy!
