Hub for watersports

Called by Southampton Water Activities Centre, or SWAC as it is often known, and I cannot help but be impressed by its role in helping those keen to be involved in water sports.
It stands on the banks of the River Itchen at Southampton and with immediate access to both the river and Southampton Water can provide ideal conditions for coaching every level of activity from sailing to windsurfing at whatever skill level you have, even if you’ve never been on the water before.
It is also the administrative base for the Royal Southampton Yacht Club and base for the Club’s racing programme.
