happy moments

this photo is a memory of a wonderful gathering of old friends. The three of us have been friends since kids, and we try to meet up for one evening and a "sleepover" during Christmas and talk about old time, new times and the future and just laugh and have a quality time together. Often we're spread out in the world, but this one evening is the one we always try to have during the year.

This year we had our evening. We always meet up at the same place. One of us has a farm, pretty isolated, beautiful house and land, quiet and always feels like "safe haven" to us. There we are always welcome, our children love it there, they are always welcome.
And this year we met up at her house. Spent the night. Stayed up late drinking red wine, beer and talking.
