Midsummer Poppies

I finally found the poppies of Shepshed today, just a couple of hundred yards from where I'd finished my walk on the train track a week or so ago. The made a beautiful contrast against a shower sky. I've a few more shots to process but must make my sandwiches before heading off to babysit William.

Basil was a numpty. He decided to stay slobbing on the bedroom rug in the sun rather than come for a walk. It would have been a fabulous walk for him too.

Several parcels arrived today, including the one from Apple that I had been arguing about with Barclaycard. A prezzie for George.

Karen gave us a good workout today as well. I like the way she emphasises movement through the water rather than arm work.
