Main Street, Burwick

It was a calm morning, but it poured down, and didn't stop raining until after 2pm.  A breezy but sunny afternoon, and sunny spells this evening.

A day off work, and with the poor morning, it was a lazy day around the house.  I nipped over to see Cathy Hallett in the afternoon, and we managed a coffee out in the garden.  Big walkies with Sammy this evening, and now my feet are up for the night.

After a poor morning, it was good to get out for a walk this evening.  Left the house, and headed over the hill to Burwick.  I walked through the hills, investigating the old abandoned croft houses.  There looks to have been about eight houses in the township, and now only one old house still lived in, and a new house.  This is my favourite houses, and they make a fine peerie street.  Taken at Burwick, Scalloway.
