This Evening’s Sky.....

This evening Maisie and I walked along the banks of the Opawa River out in the country but only 10 minutes drive from home. The sunset sky was quite pretty.
It’s hard to believe that the Winter Solstice will occur during the early hours of tomorrow. It will be the shortest day and half the year is almost gone. Pastel Painting this morning. I so enjoy the company of my pastel painting friends. This afternoon I made a new friend...someone fairly new to Marlborough. I visited her and she kindly gave me a large number of feijoas. So I have more than enough to make Feijoa Chutney and Ginger and Feijoa Jam ....
