Winter Tree...

It is hard to believe we are almost halfway through the year. Today, being the 21st of June, is our Winter Solstice. Onwards now to springtime. One aspect of winter that I thoroughly enjoy is being able to see the naked trees. I love seeing their delicate skeletal shapes and contrasts with other trees. This particular tree has such dainty tiny twigs. It was a gray rather miserable dawn thus I processed this image in monotones.
As far as Covid-19 goes, we now have seven active cases in New Zealand. All are returning New Zealand citizens intercepted at the border and now in quarantine. There will be more active cases as folk return home from overseas.
