The family silver......

.....spoon collection is in dire need of a clean which may, or may not, happen later if/when I buy some polish. My favourite has to be the REALLY tarnished one bottom left, indented by the tiny teeth marks of my Great Aunty Beulah (b 1895, she was given it as a teething aid when she was a baby, at least that's what WorMa always told me!).....y'know, it gives a whole new dimension to being 'born with a silver spoon in her mouth' ;-)

Apparently it's the first day of summer.....well all I can say is it looks like it's going to be a windy one!
