Panagia Island

Our greek taxi driver Nicos collected us at 8am and by 8.10am, and waving to loads he knew, we were at Gaios Port, Paxos, awaiting our 9am two hour crossing to Lefkada Island. Whilst waiting, I took the photograph of the sun over Panagia Island and gulls flying over the glistening water. Such a typical greek scene.

Our car hire reps were waiting at Lefkada Port, two english guys living their dream in the sunshine for half a year. After a good chat we were on our way for the twenty minute drive to our hotel. Basic, but it far exceeds expectations with absolutely stunning scenery from our room.

We spent all afternoon around our lovely hotel pool and found a restaurant to eat out this evening on the outskirts of Nidri town.
