There's always something in flower, no matter what the weather...

Heading to bed late last night, I noticed how light it was outside. Sticking my head out the door revealed snow. "Hooray! Perhaps some good wintery photos tomorrow." The bad news was that, it seemed to be already thawing.

This morning it was much colder. That initial thaw meant not much snow left, but plenty ice. Flat surfaces were now ideal for "Bambi on ice" impressions. I slowly shuffled out to feed the birds, and spotted this weed in the gravel. The road looked lethal for driving, never-mind going for a walk, or cycle. Methinks another day indoors...
