Three Cliffs Bay

If you take a week's holiday at Christmas in Wales you can't really expect too much from the weather. The main thing was always that we should have an enjoyable week with family, so I wasn't too downcast by the atrocious weather we had for the first six days.

It was a real bonus though to have a lovely sunny day to finish the holiday. We made the most of it, in the morning walking the coastal path between Langland Bay and Caswell Bay before stopping for lunch at a pub in Southgate.

Fuelled with another pint of Gower Power we set out on another short walk in the afternoon to Three Cliffs Bay. This has long been one of my favourite spots on the Gower, and it was looking particularly beautiful today as the late afternoon sun disappeared behind the clouds of the next incoming depression.
