Winter solstice sunrise

I woke with a cold this morning. As much as I wanted to ignore it and push on with my morning exercise, I didn't.

I did manage a quick trip out the front in my jarmies to blip the sunrise.

Bundled up with hat, gloves and scarf I had a small morning walk. Jasper joined me as I shuffled along. He doesn't give up and the best way is for me to shuffle around a small block with him in tow. There's no roads to cross and we're never far from home if he's suddenly frightened.

Today's gratitude: For signs of new buds and growth in my garden. I have surprises in store for late winter and spring.
