Coquet Island

After our running and walking yesterday we all thought we would sleep well, but strangely no one slept well.  I had planned to go for a walk this morning, instead of a run, but didn’t even do that.  I did manage a wee wander later whilst TT and BB were getting themselves sorted out.  We then drove to Warkworth.  The boys went to explore the castel and I went to explore the village.  There wasn’t time to do both as we had a lunch date with friends in a nearby village.  Lunch was fabulous.  Having missed out on dessert last night, BB insisted ion dessert, but didn’t manage to finish it – it was very rich!

We then headed to Druridge bay Country Park and had a wonderful walk along in the beach in the sunshine.  It was breezy and we were all well-wrapped up, but it was a really lovely walk, and we barely met a soul.  We came back via a nature reserve and a further lake.  All too soon we were going our separate ways.

None of us were very hungry in the evening after our lovely lunch, so we snacked.  TT and I got stuck into more Line of Duty!
