waves

went to the beach today and it was surprisingly deserted. Just myself and a French lady whose husband was bravely swimming. I went in up to my knees but it still felt a little chilly for full submersion!  I was trying to emulate some photos I'd seen on the internet of very small waves breaking on the beach but taken at macro settings so they look huge. It sounds much easier than it was as once submerged in the water I couldn't see to compose or focus so had many blurry photos. I ended up preferring those with a view further out of the sea, like this one.
