Blooming blousy

Decided to take these lovely roses as I believe the rain is on it’s way again and they will be decimated. The corner of the front garden by the drive is looking great at the moment with three roses in bloom. Better than I remember it for some time.
This is a favourite ‘Shropshire Lad’ with a  delicate  scent.
Below it is the pink/ peach ‘Grace’ and then the deeper pink ‘Alnwick’.


Our son comes for dinner on a Sunday but we’ve decided to eat early before the predicted rain. Chris is out BBQ-ing but think we’ll be eating inside!  The usual brief taste of summer!
