The rewards of success

We’re in Inverness tonight after 1,500 miles (so far) on the motorbikes. We’ve had two dry* days from the nine we’ve been on the road.  Tomorrow looks as though it could well be the wettest day yet as we head towards Harrogate.

* in this context the term “dry” refers to the lack of precipitation not the lack of alcohol - no one has been counting the latter.

But this evening as the rain starts to fall here in Inverness we are having a small celebration in aid of our completing the North Coast 500. Mark’s on his second pint of 6% beer and that burger is undoubtedly an epic burger in its own right.
