St John's

We had a relaxed start this morning after all the fun yesterday. It was overcast and there were a few raindrops as a made tea to go back to bed. An hour or so later the heavens opened and it rained loads. How marvellous that the organisers of the Bishpsteignton Village Festival managed to plan it al for that two day window of lovely weather. It makes you suspect that someone, and in the village we all know who it is, has a direct line.

Marian did a flower arrangement in the church on Friday, standing in for one of her friends who is away. She wanted a photo to show her friend so we went down there this afternoon to get a photo. we couldn't get in unfortunately but we'll go down again tomorrow.

Whilst down there I took a few photos of the church from the churchyard and I like this one.
