Holiday Time
It's changeover day today, that's in the refurb of our bathrooms. The main bathroom is now complete so today we've moved down to the spare room so we can give our bedroom over for the refurb of the en-suite.
So that's the last of the coronavirus briefings. Where am I going to be able to see a simpering cabinet member say, "Well, that is a very good question." Well, the ratings have been pretty poor after the first couple of weeks when we all realised what a bunch of tosh they're spouting.
So, in England, we're soon all going to be able to do what a lot of people have been doing for a few weeks now - go away and stay. The government seems keen that we should stay home rather than going abroad but I think plenty of people will go overseas on the promise of quarantining on their return, now that Spain is open for business.
I rode into Teignmouth late this afternoon. A lot of people seemed to be leaving the beach so there must have been plenty there before. My blip is of The Ness across the channel if you look at the horizon you'll be able to see one of several cruise ships that are laying up out there. I wonder when they'll be back in business?
