After the rain

The weather forecast was correct and the rain started late on Sunday evening. The rain together with the face that HtP wasn’t feeling very well meant that we lazed around in the morning.

Once the rain had stopped we went into Pitlochry for lunch at Hettie’s tea rooms. We’d highly recommend it.

We then purchased some more cold remedies and went for a walk around town.

In the extra you’ll see that we stopped to feed the ducks. For all the years that I have been coming here we have always fed the ducks. Anticipating the fact I had bought a large container of duck food with us.

We stopped at the Queen’s view, always a must and then stopped again at the beginning of Loch Rannoch.

I’d also been dared to paddle so paddle we did. The water was freezing and the stones underfoot painful. But a dare is a dare.
