Loch Ericht

We fancied doing a walk in the middle of no where so we parked at Rannoch Lodge and walked to Loch Ericht.

It was quite a long walk. It was one of those walks where you kept on thinking that round the corner there would be a wonderful view.

Two guys passed us on bikes and then three young men and a dog. We think that they were all heading for the Bothie on the loch.

We saw lots of birds and thought that we heard a red squirrel but we couldn’t see him.

We also saw two hairy caterpillars and lots of slugs.

The extra is some tree roots on the beach.

We walked 17.8km and we are both rather pooped.
