Restoration.

Where we live we are very lucky to have a wealth of dog walk options, although the dogs long coats do kind of restrict some walks at muddy times of the year!. One of the walks is along a disused canal, it is full of wildlife and I love the way it constantly changes with the seasons. It runs for nearly 8 miles to join the Grand Union canal. Today I decided to drive to a village some 4 1/2 miles away and then walk along the tow path. It was very hot and humid. I came to where the restoration was going on, quite fascinating and surprised to read the cost - £500 per metre!
