Two day work visit. Distracted myself from the thought of an 8 hour journey home the next evening with a quick exit at the end of the work day, a riverside pitstop and a walk up to the ruined kendal castle for amazing views and to unwittingly disturb the teenage drinkers, ah, us pesky scots get everywhere, though i arrived a fair bit later than Robert the Bruce....
