We flew back from Venice to Leeds/Bradford this lunchtime and the views over the Alps were amazing. Our landing back at Leeds/Bradford was a bit hair raising , we bounced and skidded on the runway before the pilot aborted the landing and went back up. After circling round again for 25 minutes, he landed safely on the second approach! Then to add insult to injury, my suitcase didn’t turn up at baggage reclaim. A phone call from Jet2 this evening said it has been traced and is still in Venice! A frustrating ending to a curtailed holiday!
