It is 29c out today and is a bit too hot to be working in the garden! One of my hydrangeas is starting to flower and I have noticed over the last few years that the colour has been changing from the original pink and they are looking decidedly blue now which I’m very happy about. I know that it is due to the acidity in the soil.

It was very hard to sleep last night due to the temperature. It was daylight at 3.30am with the birds singing and then we were woken again at 5.30am with a bee in the bedroom because all the windows were open!
