Chimney scape

I always like looking at all these chimneys; each chimneypot represents a room. In the days before central heating each room had a fireplace and that was how they kept warm in the cold days of winter.
These grand old houses are in Walmer, Deal, and were built by wealthy Victorians to be able to "take the sea air". They are now flats.
