South Leith parish churchyard

Another drab winter's day today here, so after a walk through Leith, where we stopped off at the South Leith Churchyard for a blip, we settled down to watch a couple of episodes off the BBC classic TV series, 'Colditz'.

South Leith Parish kirkyard is the burial place for John Home, author of Douglas, and John Pew, the man from whom the author Robert Louis Stevenson reputedly derived the character of Blind Pew in the novel Treasure Island. The church has been repaired, used as a magazine and reconstructed but still looks similar to its appearance on a 1608 seal.

Staying in tonight and chilling. Hope everyone is having a fun day.
