... I am back home in Newton Mearns/Giffnock when I see kosher delis and bakeries.

Though not Jewish myself, weirdly, by chance I lived with a Jewish family (absolutely lovely) when I lived in Maidenhead for a few years back in the 1980s and over the years I have lost count of the Bar mitzvahs I have been too and gefilte fish eaten. Hurrah for diversity, I say!

Anyway, I was over in Glasgow with my brother to set up my parents new iPad we got them for Christmas (that was a trying experience!) which was fun. It was also a chance for them to see my brother before he heads back to Libya for work.
