Last full day .....

I was again too early and then too late for the rooftop sunrise and had a coffee instead.
Neil suggested to go for a swim before breakfast and it was a great idea.

At breakfast we wondered what to do today. Originally we had planned to go to Santa Teresa, but we both did not feel we had to and decided to walk along the beach to Ipanema.

Before we headed off we wandered over the Sunday market so that I could buy some of their monster avocados to take home.

It was nice. The main avenue along the Copacabana is shut for cars on Sundays and loads of people were stalling along.
It took us a while to get to Ipanema, and we craved a drink and settled in at a small stall.

Once were where energised again we thought a coffee would be nice next and we walked into the neighbourhood to Aramzem Coffee, which Neil had located. After 3 coffees a bag of beans wandered in our bags and we wandered back to the Hotel, which was a 45 minute walk.

We still hadn’t made up our mind where to go for dinner and were also a bit exhausted after all the walking, se we both faffed a bit around before we once more tried to decide where to go.

Galeto Sat’s felt far too far away, Compadres felt attractive due to the fabulous food we experienced 2 days ago, but definitely minus the deadly caipirinhas.
We googled a bit for other places, but I was intrigued about the Boteca next door, which was heaving every day at any time.
We left the Hotel and I suggested to have a closer look at said place called Montagu’s. They had spare tables and after a look at the menu, we decided to try it.
We had great bolinhos the bacalao, some pastels and then Picanha, Carne Seca and Carne de Sol with various sides.
The caipirinhas were bloody strong too and I did not finish mine this time.
We paid for all that food and the drinks 30 Pounds!
We managed a round around the block, before we fell into the bed.

Blipping exactly the place we went for dinner. This was taken in the morning though.
