Thunderstorm approaching

We flew in to Denver just ahead of this thunderstorm but then had to wait out the storm in the plane. With lightening all around us, the ground crew could not be out on the tarmac to bring the plane up to the gate. It was amazing to feel our little plane being buffeted around by the wind. By the end of the day, we were delayed by 4 hours getting us to our destination at 3am. By the time we got to our hotel they had given away our room and they hadn't any others. We waited in the lobby until breakfast and then went on our way. We were headed to my mother's memorial service in Connecticut.
