Leonardo's Horse.

We had a guided tour of Milan today. The weather was dull and overcast and it was bitterly cold. We were glad to get into a bar for some warmth.

Amongst the sites we were shown was this statue of a horse known as Leonardo's Horse.

Apparently Leonardo was commissioned by the Duke of Milan to create the largest sculpture of a horse in the world. It seems that he did the preparatory work but never finished it. Obviously fuller details are available on the Internet.
