A Random Wall...

...found down Dave and Jude's back alley. This wall is between the back yard of a house and the back alley.
Why were there "windows"? Why have they gone? Just another random mystery.
We were setting out on a walk from the house and through Witton Country Park when I saw these features. We continued on to a small wood that D and J had recently discovered. There was a lot of work going on in the wood, removing rhodedendrons and piling the dead wood into heaps and fences. All this was being done by volunteers working with an organisation called "The Green Gym". The name made me wonder how our garden is getting on, back in Sweden.
