Packwood House

We met Chris and Jean at the National Trust property near Solihull, Packwood House.  After a nice walk along the tree lined avenue in the grounds we had a drink in the cafe and sat and chatted.

On leaving Packwood we headed for The Reservoir, a pub in Earlswood not too far away.  There we had a good pub lunch, fish and chips except for Ann who had the curry, and I washed mine down with a pint of Abbot Ale.

I took a few photos by the pond we passed on the walk, I liked the shades of green and the contrast between the sunshine and shadows, the reflections making the picture almost abstract.
