If you don't look at the whole Plateau from here but concentrate on the left hand tree mid picture you can see the Woodpecker. In case you can't he is in the extra!
Another scorcher of a day, full of wildlife.
These hills above the town allow a panorama and host butterflies, today Northern Brown Argus and Small Pearl Bordered Fritillary, Red Admiral and many others; birdlife, today, Kestrel, Sparrowhawk, Goldfinches, Curlew, Oystercatcher, Lapwing, Swallow, Swift and many more; wildflowers, today Rockrose, Orchids,and many more.
Later walked in the woods where it was a little cooler and found a few Twinflowers and lots of Wintergreen.
Lucky me!
