Melancholy Thistles..

looking splendid down at the river on this very hot morning. Temperature peaked at 29C ! Too hot for a long walk in the open, settled for several shorter ones with tree shading. At the Lochan found the first Common Hawker emerging from his exuvia and the first Dark Green Fritillary for me this season.
Sitting in the shade in the garden blipping and reading, bliss!
