Alice

Long day today. I stopped at Roughlee for a short walk where I took this photo of a statue of Alice Nutter, one of the Pendle witches put to death centuries ago.

I climbed some of Pendle Hill - as far as Upper Ogden reservoir- too hot to climb all the way.

Collected Mrs madwill from her workshop at 5 p.m. and we drove to Lytham St. Annes. We walked about the pier area and then had fish and chips and a walk on the beach.

Drove back to Accrington and went to the bar. Complimentary drinks and a new hotel room (long story, hope to tell the tale tomorrow). No time to process my camera photos, so just a phone blip today. Time for bed - zzzzz.
