Beyond the long shadows the Summits still Shine.

It's that time of year when you're not going to go up onto the mountains despite the beautiful weather. They are full of the maddening crowds where the snow is accessible, and, where it's not, it's too dangerous. The weekend between Christmas and New Year is definitely to be avoided. Walks in our beautiful fields and woodlands suffice, with tantalising views of the peaks in the distance.

We are heading for an early night as the family have just left and the clearing up is more or less done. So thank you to everyone who commented on my last couple of blips.
