The Ravages of last year's Heavy Winter Snow.

How many times have I sat on the opposite side of this barn sipping tea and eating a picnic? Last winter we had huge quantities of snow and the consequence was that this old barn eventually caved in. I did expect it to be repaired during the summer so it was quite sad to see it in this state again today. I preferred the composition of the other side of the barn but it wasn't as dramatic. Sometimes there is beauty in devastation.

I know I said I wasn't going out XC skiing today, but I took a risk and managed to find a parking space near the pistes. I don't think have ever seen so many people out on cross-country skis for a long time.
